Building and overseeing a tax compliance function with a focus on adding appropriate processes to ensure identification of filing requirements and adherence to filing deadlines. Create and maintain an inventory of all worldwide tax filings and due dates. Compare actual filings with the company’s geographic footprint (virtual and physical) to identify potential new filing requirement. Managing outside preparers while also compiling information and filling out forms (a reviewer and a doer). Coordinate closely with finance and accounting to prepare tax accruals for financial reporting purposes and review by our external auditors. This individual will be expected to understand Flywire’s business model and take an active role in identifying tax issues and exposures as well as new filing requirements.
