Content Developer/LMS Administrator

As part of the Carbon Black Go-to-Market Operations organization, you will work on our training and enablement team to develop, design & create training content that supports an instructionally sound and engaging learning experience. You will also use your unique combination of content development experience and experience with LMS administration, to provide front line LMS support to our internal and external customers.

As an LMS administrator you will manage our learning platforms to address LMS & CMS issues including system maintenance, vendor provided system upgrades, user management & course creation.

As a content developer, you will have the opportunity to create a variety of learning content to serve both our internal and external customers, including technical system walkthroughs, Instructor Led Training presentations and training collateral such as infographics and training guides.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Learning Management System (LMS) acting as Subject Matter Expert and point of contact between all stakeholders (e.g. Management, Trainers, Designers, Customers, Vendors, etc.).
  • Assist with daily LMS & CMS management and operations to include system enhancements, testing vendor provided customization, changes in content design, and end user assistance.
  • Develop learning content (PPT, infographics, training guides) to support learning initiatives that are aligned with business priorities and initiatives.
  • Create self-service learning resources, including screen capture videos, instructor-led PPT, and eLearning offerings.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience with course creation and development.
  • 2+ years experience administering and supporting Moodle 3.0 or higher. Troubleshooting experience a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills and clear, precise writing ability.
  • Experience with multimedia technology and authoring tools such as Adobe Premiere and/or AfterEffects, Articulate 360, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator & Adobe Audition.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize between key deliverables.
  • Flexibility to support a geographically-distributed user base
  • Ability to script, shoot and edit short form video content for learning and/or promotional content a huge plus.
  • Experience with SalesForce reporting a plus.
  • This position is based in Waltham, MA; remote applicants will be considered with the right experience.
