Customer Marketer

Owl Labs is hiring a Customer Marketer to join the Customer Success Team. This role is a perfect fit for an aspiring marketing leader interested in a cross functional marketing role spanning the needs of customers as well as our sales, support and marketing teams.

 

The ideal person has serious content creation muscle and loves to write. You also might have an interest in sales, product marketing and customer development. This person will be an integral part of our customer success team, owning touchless customer communications and customer delight campaigns and collaborating with sales and support on content needed to better deliver an amazing customer experience.

 

Owl Labs’ mission is to solve a problem we’ve all experienced: meetings suck, and they are especially painful for the remote participants on the other side of the call. Considering the rapid growth in remote and distributed work, this is a perfectly timed problem for Owl Labs to solve. The market is hungry for products and content that make remote and distributed work better.

 

With $7.3M funding from Playground Venture’s Andy Rubin (co-founder of Android) and Boston’s Matrix Partners, Owl Labs created the Meeting Owl, a 360° smart video conferencing camera that sits in the center of the table and uses robotics algorithms to automatically highlight different people as they talk. After launching the product in June 2017, thousands of companies have purchased the Meeting Owl, saying it offers the most natural and inclusive meeting experience they’ve ever seen.

 

In this role, you will help the Customer Success team in achieving some of the company’s most important goals:

 

These metrics will include:

 

  • Customer Happiness - NPS and customer satisfaction.

  • Customer Engagement Rates - Everything from engagement in nurturing and product notification emails to registration and Owl usage rates.  

  • Repeat sales - Helping our customers expand Owls throughout their organization.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing all automated customer workflows to deliver relevant content in a timely and useful manner.

  • Creating and delivering customer campaigns to surprise and delight our customer base (past campaigns have included random cupcake deliveries, t-shirts for every customer, Owl carrying bags.) Owning and managing the corresponding budget.

  • Working with our sales and support teams on the content they use to support our teams. Improving existing content as well as identifying and creating new content.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3-5 years experience in a content creation role. Experience working with customers directly is a bonus.

  • Published work anywhere, even if it’s your own blog.
