Marketing Project Specialist

| Greater Boston Area

are a team of bold copywriters, designers, strategists, engineers, UX researchers, data junkies and product visionaries based in downtown Boston. Over the past ten years, we’ve quietly transformed home security from an outdated, unfriendly industry to something elegant, thoughtful, and beautifully designed. We’ve taken on the industry behemoths, we’re winning, and we want you to join us on our march to victory.

(Oh, and other folks seem to like us a whole lot. CNET, the Wirecutter and PCMag all named us their Editors’ Choice for home security. Not bad for a day’s work).

The Job...

is a big deal. You oversee all the work we churn out everyday to make our website sing. Our website is the heart of our business. It’s not just pretty pictures. It’s our store. We work hard every day to make it better. Analysts do data deep dives to find clues how. Then copywriters and designers collaborate on new designs that a team of developers brings to life. You’ll oversee it all, keeping track of who’s working on what and using your organizational genius to make sure it all gets done.

get things done. And done well. You stay on top of things like no one’s business. Organizing and prioritizing is how you start every day. You thrive on organizing chaos. When everyone else loses their head, you’re calm and clear-sighted.

But you’re way more than just your way with a planner. You’re a great listener, negotiator, collaborator. Someone’s stalled on a project? You listen, find out why, and propose solutions. When different teams have different priorities, you listen to both, and bridge the gap. That’s why everyone turns to you when they want things done.

Your project management experience…

is welcome if you’ve got it; if not, that’s okay too. If the “you” section above sounds like you, then you’re the right person for the job. Add in your zero-ego attitude and your hunger to learn and succeed and the job is yours.

To apply...

just follow this link. Let us know why you’re the right person for the role. Be concrete. Tell us about a time you managed a team to get things done. Or that big, messy, complicated project you broke down into a bunch of bite size bits, organized, prioritized, and tracked to completion. Show us your best spreadsheet, a page from your planner. Show us what you’ve got.
