Director, Product Management

| Greater Boston Area

Carbon Black’s Predictive Security Cloud (PSC) is redefining endpoint security through big data analytics in the cloud. The Director of Product Management leads the team of product managers responsible for defining, prioritizing and overseeing delivery of major investments for the PSC.

 

This role is primarily about leadership. You will lead and grow a team of experienced, high profile product managers who lead initiatives through their entire life-cycle.   

On the product side, your team will identify and prioritize potential initial investments, perform research, present feasibility analysis and define features to meet the needs identified and prioritized. Overseeing initiative definition, all the way through delivery and success metric tracking, this role is crucial for our success.

 

Come help us set direction, maximize our investments, articulate the benefits of the PSC and continue to keep our customers safe from the most advanced cyber attacks.

 

What You’ll Do

·    Provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to a team of experienced product managers.

·    Communicate and use your vision to influence strategic priorities in our agile process.

·    Work with customers, stakeholders, and experts to research and define initiatives.

·    Collaborate with Product Owners, UX, and scrum teams to bring your initiatives to life.

·    Drive market readiness for initiatives inside and outside of our business.

·    Use and analyze data to discover insights and drive success.

·    Constantly strive to improve the way we work - if it can be done better let’s do it!

·    Cultivate a high performing team that is centered on the customer and data driven.

·    Build a healthy culture of product and personal excellence.

 

What You’ll Bring

·    Demonstrated ability to lead and grow SaaS product management talent

·    7+ years of product management experience in SaaS software

·    Self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills

·    Desire to grow and work within a high performing and close knit team

·    Passion for building relationships with our customers

·    Analytical approach for effectively evaluating and executing trade-off decisions

·    Dynamic capability to articulate and evangelize product decisions and direction

·    Crisp and clear communication style

·    Experience in security is a plus, and experience in endpoint security is a bigger plus

·    High competence with Agile product management and processes

The company believes in work-life balance. If I ever had a family obligation or wanted to check out early to start a vacation, I’ve never been given a hard time.
