Job Description
We are actively hiring a full-time Business Development Representative who will help PatientPing grow by developing an effective pipeline of new customers. As a BDR you will work with Senior Growth Executives to develop market development plans, generate meetings with healthcare decision makers, and drive awareness through efficient lead activity management.

The Growth function at PatientPing prioritizes the development of BDRs and is committed to moving you up quickly through the sales organization. The BDR role does not carry a revenue quota, but does have objectives and key results that are used to measure your success and help us better work together to build a development plan designed to make you successful.
In addition to the training that you will receive and the work that you will do to prepare for your role in sales, you will also provide front line support for the Growth, New Markets, and Marketing teams.
•Provide inside sales support to our direct sales division by speaking directly with leads generated by marketing
•Researching targeted accounts and building contact lists
•Outbound meeting booking on behalf of the Growth team into a set list of targeted accounts

What You Need:
•1-2 years of professional experience in a business-to-business environment (preferably health or tech)

How does your team reward individual success?

At PatientPing, we encourage public praise through channels like Slack and Lattice. We also set aside time for shout-outs at our weekly all-hands meeting. At our quarterly company meetings, each department recognizes one or two employees as "Star Pingers” -- we call out the company values they embody and present them with customized pins.

Mandi

What kinds of technical challenges do you and your team face?

The Data Factory team is charged with the architecture and maintenance of our event sourcing data processing pipeline.
In addition to making sure the pipeline is performant and will scale, we are also involved in data cleaning, data normalization, and output of data for the application to consume, tailored by data sensitivity and user-based rules.

Julie

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I started working at PatientPing as an Office Manager/EA. Being the 6th hire at a startup means that your role knows no bounds, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to explore all aspects of our business from customer support to accounting. I currently support a team of over 100 employees as a Sr. People Operations Lead.

Catherine

Senior People Operations Lead

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

"Giving them freedom to fail. Creativity inherently means trying something new, which implies risk. We want people to feel free to take risks without feeling the fear of failure! That, and very powerful cold-brew coffee :)"

Jay

CEO

What makes someone successful on your team?

The people that have been successful have these attributes. 1. Grit–they never give up. 2. Adaptability–startups change at a hyper-fast pace, people that embrace change really thrive. 3. Curiosity–they’re constantly learning and improving their skills. 4. Humility–they look at how they can improve themselves and regularly talk about their mistakes.
