Sales Development Representative

riskmethods is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join the team in our Boston office! The sales development team is driving force behind the discovery of new potential customers. By reaching out to companies through a variety of channels, they identify great fits for our solution and make introductions to our account executives. A critical part of the business, the sales development team is exciting and fast paced, and would be a great match for a person who enjoys speaking with new people and thriving in a metrics driven role.
What you will do:
- Research and prospect for new riskmethods customers
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of contacts and accounts within Salesforce to achieve monthly targets
- Conduct daily outreach activities via phone, email, and social
- Lead discovery calls with prospective clients to identify the right fit to create opportunities for Account Executives
- Partner with Account Executives to facilitate product demos
- Play an instrumental part in the growth of the company by identifying new major logos
Who you are:
- You want to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- You build relationships with various stakeholders
- You have a proven track record of success, consistently exceeding goals
- Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are top notch
- You have 1+ year of relevant experience or want to make a career switch to sales
- You are a team player who works well with others, is self-motivated, and driven to be #1
- It’s a plus if you know supply chain and/or procurement
