Aurora Flight Sciences is currently seeking a mid-level engineer to join the  Advanced Concepts Group of the Cambridge Research and Technology Center.  In this role, the candidate will pursue advanced research in aerodynamics, modelling and multi-disciplinary optimization in a fast-paced development environment and contribute to the maturation of unconventional aircraft configurations for both commercial and military applications. The candidate will be expected to conceive and evaluate clean-sheet concepts making use of a variety of enabling technologies, and support these programs from preliminary design through fabrication and flight test.   The successful candidate will possess a varied, multi-disciplinary background and a willingness to accept multiple roles in a variety of technical areas, as required by active programs.  The successful candidate will also have significant experience with aircraft conceptual design, selection and use of analysis tools across a range of modelling fidelities and the use of optimization in design.
